Discipleship Classes at New Beginnings Church

Our vision at NBC is to see our community transformed by the presence of Christ in the life of people, by making disciples of Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20

Discipleship classes at our church are ongoing.  We have new believers being added into God's Kingdom on a regular basis that need to be discipled as well as transplants and new attendees.  We like to share the vision of the church and make sure all believers understand where we stand on the Bible.  Our discipleship curriculum aims to equip believers with the knowledge and tools to grow in their faith and effectively share it with others. Our curriculum starts from the very beginning for believers asking the question: What Does It Mean to be a Christian?  Discipleship Classes are broken into Sessions One, Two and Three. But no worries, they are given at a pace for every student to understand each topic discussed before moving onto the next. Our Senior Pastor David Soto takes the time to answer questions his students may have and enjoys getting to know each student as they start their new journey in Christ.  Key elements of discipleship classes include studying the Bible, class participation, practicing spiritual disciplines like prayer and worship, learning the importance of being Baptized as well as dedicating time with God.

Matthew 4:19 "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."
