Christmas Service, Sunday, December 21, 2025

New Beginnings House of Worship celebrated a wonderful and intimate worship service on Sunday, December 21, 2025. The service was engaging to all ages. The Children's Ministry participated with the song, "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" lead by Alexis Soto. There was a Live Nativity with the participation of many in the congregation: Quincy Jones as Joseph, Nathalie D'Acunto as Mary, Daniel Pastran as baby Jesus, Daniel Santiago as a Shepherd Boy, Ethan Yap as a Lamb, Vincent Richards, Joe Bartolatta and Isaiah Soto as Wise Men, Israel Canuto as the Angel Gabriel and our Angel Praise Dancers, Alexis Soto and Jia Santiago. There was a Praise Dance to "Mary Did You Know," "Away in A Manger" and "Joy To The World." Our Senior Pastor David Soto gave a powerful sermon Titled, "The Christmas Prophecy," from the book of Isaiah.  It was glorious to be in the presence of God and remember the prophecy given was delivered as it was written by God.  There was a delicious reception held after the service for all to fellowship. Everyone was filled both spiritually with the Word of God and physically with the amazing covered dishes that were donated.  Thank you all and Merry Christmas!

Happy Pastor's Appreciation, Sunday, October 26th

We are grateful for our pastor's selfless love, their faithful teaching, and their courageous faith. We pray that our gratitude would remind them that they are seen, valued, and known. Lord, help us as a church to support our pastor, to submit to their leadership, and to grow in respect and love for them. Send the right deacons, elders, and volunteers to lead alongside them so they do not have to carry the weight alone. Bless their family and strengthen their ministries. Expand their influence for Your glory and their good.

This year we decided as a congregation to "surprise" our beloved Pastors David and Marisol for Pastor Appreciation.  It all started with a pastoral praise dance by Jia Santiago with the song, "I Trust In God."  There were several speeches, gifts and delicious food. Our pastors  work for the Lord with love, compassion and dedication.  We thank them for all they do and appreciate the pastoral family.

International Festival 

On Sunday, September 21, 2025 we went around the world in one day tasting the delicious food from families that attend our church.  Represented at the event were:  U.S.A., Puerto Rico, Cuba, Ireland, Italy, Chile, Jamaica, Hondura, and Mexico.  We have even more countries that were not able to represent at this event but no worries, we had such a great time, we can't wait to do it again.  Stay connected and wait for our next event.  The food was out of this world!

We want to thank all the families that represented their culture and for the guests that arrived.  
A special thanks to those who helped to set-up for the event, all the food donations and our export cooks. The food was five stars. And thank you for all the families who stayed behind to help with clean-up. Can’t wait for our next event!

Women’s Ministry Gathering in July

In July our Women’s Ministry met for a casual time of fellowship at Minister Yessenia’s home. Our leader, Deaconess Jessica got the women to surprise Pastor Marisol for her birthday. We had a wonderful time together with fun and laughter. Here are the photos of that event. 

ONE WAY CAFE & PIZZA - GRAND OPENING SATURDAY, SEPT. 28, 2024

Finally the long awaited project has come to fruition.  Pastors David and Marisol Soto have worked hard to bring One Way Café & Pizza to life. New Beginnings House of Worship has opened their very own café to serve our community.  One Way Café & Pizza has been the vision of our Senior Pastor David Soto to open the doors to our community to come and dine and hear Christian music. We offer a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere with a New York Soho décor.  Breakfast is served all day and there is a large lunch menu as well. Our catch phrase is "Divine Coffee. Heavenly Pizza." We hope to get to know our community and people from all walks of life.  We want to give an encouraging word to those who come and dine and offer prayer to anyone in need during our business hours, Monday through Saturday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Volunteers are welcomed!

Our Grand Opening took place on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 1:00 pm with a ribbon cutting ceremony and presence of Mayor Joseph M. DeStefano, Maria Bruni, Economic & Community Development Director for the City of Middletown, New York and family and friends. We also had special guests: The Amazing Spider-Man and Mirabel from Encanto. It was a beautiful day of celebration.

VBS - WILDERNESS ESCAPE

JULY 15-19, 2024

New Beginnings House Of Worship was honored to host this year‘s vacation Bible school with the theme, “Wilderness Escape” where God guides and provides. Everyone who attended had a wonderful time adults included. We made new friends and learned to, “TRUST GOD.”  See the behind-the-scenes photos from start to finish and enjoy.

Blood Drive - April 20, 2024

What better way to serve our community than to partner with the American Red Cross and host our First Blood Drive. On April 20th we got together to save lives.  Our goal was set to 20 pints and we surpassed by obtaining 25 pints. We hosted a free Barbecue with hamburgers, hot dogs, fresh fruit and  a grand Luau.  Everyone who volunteered and donated blood received a Hawaiian Lei, fresh fruit and amazing upside down pineapple cupcakes.  My amazing recruits outdid themselves decorating.  Special "Thanks" to Joanna Figueroa, Jessica Apablaza, Margie Santiago, Charlene Tirado, Yessenia Canuto, Fermin Canuto, Alexis Soto, Fernanda Canuto and Pastor David Soto who helped set-up, volunteered during the event and helped with all the clean-up.  A special thanks to Shilpa who helped with registration and the amazing staff from the American Red Cross.  Most importantly, I want to thank all the donors who gave blood, my family, friends and community.  You are the best people on earth!

Christmas 2023

New Beginnings House of Worship wanted to give back to the community and prepared it's first Christmas Community Dinner. Everyone was invited to worship with us on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at 10:00 am.  We worshipped together and enjoyed visiting the story of Jesus Birth preached by our Senior Pastor David Soto.  We enjoyed the praise dance to "Mary Did You Know," performed by Fernanda Canuto and her parents playing the part of Joseph and Mary.  The doors to our church are always open and on this day we serve almost 100 people in our community a delicious Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings.  It was wonderful to see our church come together and serve many families in our community.  Some just came by to enjoyed having someone to spend Christmas Eve with. There was so much food donated by our parishioners' that we sent many families with take out to share with their neighbors and people in need.  We had several volunteers who came to assist and students that wanted to add this wonderful experience to their community service. Their was joy and laughter in the air. Our children were also adopted and given gifts for Christmas.  It was beautiful to spend time together with our church family and people we just came to know. A special "THANK YOU" to Sam's Club, Shop Rite and our wonderful Leadership at New Beginnings House of Worship who worked tirelessly to make this event happen with good cheer!

Sailing with our Leadership - Sept. 19, 2023

Our Senior Pastor David Soto is certified to sail and is excited with the new adventures ahead. Come Sail Away!!! On September 19, 2023 he took his leadership and their children out sailing to Lake Wallenpaupack.  It was a first experience for all of them. Pastor David and Marisol have been sailing on numerous occasions and love the serenity of being on a lake or in the ocean.  We had a wonderful time together and were mesmerized by the beautiful landscape of Lake Wallenpaupack. Women's Ministry Tea Party

On May 6th, 2023 the Women's Ministry had their first annual tea party to commence the beginning of their lemonade series on sisterhood. Women of all ages gathered to share their testimonies, celebrated one another, had tea, sandwiches, pastries and most importantly we shared the love of Christ. We had an awesome time in fellowship and the food was great!

Baptism Service of June 25, 2023

Our Senior Pastor David Soto was able to reunite through Facebook with his childhood friend Domingo during the Pandemic in 2022. One day his friend was looking through social media when he saw our Pastor preaching a Sunday Sermon.  They connected and through facetime, Pastor David gave his friend Domingo and daughter Tiffany discipleship classes. They accepted Christ as Lord and Savior and desired to be baptized.  As Pastor David  continued to also teach discipleship classes in our local church, New Beginnings House of Worship, others were added to be baptized, they were Juana Carranza and Lucy Crespo. On June 25th, 2023 Domingo and his family flew in from Florida to New York to be baptized.  His lovely wife, Blanche, also joined them and was baptized. God has a way of bringing people together and His Kingdom continues to grow daily.  We must continue to press forward preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to all mankind using even social media to share the Good News. VBS "The Miracle of Jesus" - December 18, 2022

On Sunday, December 18, 2022 our church celebrated, "The Miracle of Jesus,"  at 10:00 am.  We had a visitor from the Board of Education attend our event. Our worship was prepared with our Praise Dance Team and they did a magnificent job bringing Christmas songs to life.  We had everyone in the congregation dress up as in Bible time attire. The costumes were magnificent.  We all traveled to the days of Bethlehem and had passports for the experience of a life time.  We ate fresh unleavened bread with honey from the Bethlehem Bakery, visited Bethlehem's Toy Shoppe, children went fishing, they visited The Stable and got frankincense for the Spice store.  There were several stations giving families the opportunity to experience what it was like when Jesus was born with an Innkeeper telling her experience on that glorious day. All the children who attended were also given the opportunity to dress up and be part of "The Miracle of Jesus."  Pastor Marisol Soto dedicated her time creating costumes and had an awesome team of volunteers from the Children's Ministry decorating and preparing for the event.  A special thanks to everyone who gave a helping hand.  It was an unforgettable event.
